Our Services

All our services are delivered as part of our innovative ‘Three Step Approach’ to promoting independence and includes the provision of:

  2. Step 2 – Supported Living Services
  3. Step 3 – Outreach Services

This allows service users to live in accommodation that is appropriate to their specific needs and to progress along their own individual path towards independent living at a pace that is suitable to them.

Person Centred Planning

Service User Strategic Day

Every support package is tailored to meet the assessed needs of each individual and can be flexibly and responsively adapted as circumstances / needs change.

We actively encourage each individual to develop their own ‘SMART’ support plan which identifies a range of personal development and other independent outcomes which are:

  1. Specific
  2. Measurable
  3. Achievable
  4. Realistic
  5. Time specific

This outcome based approach to achieving improved levels of independence and personal development over time enables each person to take more control of their lives.

Through successful achievement of small goals, larger and more complex tasks / problems can be tackled and overcome. This progression from one positive achievement to the next helps build greater self confidence, self reliance and independence.


Quality Services

Our internal and external quality assurance bench marking systems enable us to evidence good practice and value for money.

We have consistently received good Care Quality Commission reports and Grade ‘B’ Supporting People Quality Assessments.

We complete our own quality assurance audits on a quarterly basis. We value and regularly collect feedback from service users, professionals, families, significant others, staff and external bodies.

Chester house offers a structured environment with a staff team that the Service user knows and trusts, therefore she feels she is kept safe.

I have no criticism to make, rather would like to say we need a place like Chester house that is willing to take the more disruptive patients.
